To support our rapid growth, we are looking for a Senior Systems Accountant to join our Group Finance Systems and Controls team in London to provide application support and assist with change to both our Global Shared Functions (GSF) and operating businesses around the world.



The Finance Systems and Controls team is responsible for managing the central function finance applications and for driving the deployment of Group Shared finance systems.

We have recently implemented a new parent entity Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) in UK and Germany, and we are currently undertaking a global project to deploy a new Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) platform for consolidation, budgeting, planning and reporting. We work with global IT security, governance and internal audit teams to promote and maintain technology governance throughout the group; we also work closely with treasury, tax and commercial teams to provide integrated financial solutions.


In this role as Senior Systems Accountant you will be involved in a wide range of projects as we grow our group finance systems capabilities.

  • You will be helping us implement our new EPM platform, and with the support of our consulting partners, take primary functional responsibility for the platform as we roll out additional functionality around our global business.
  • You will also take over day to day functional support and ongoing development of the ERP system that we use in our corporate and shared functions offices in London, Luxembourg and Berlin. This will involve assisting users in London, Berlin and Luxembourg, setting up and maintaining appropriate security, ensuring interfaces to other systems are working reliably and deploying new functionality as required.
  • You will work with stakeholders to prepare proposals for change and follow these through to successful projects, including system configuration, testing, training and documentation.


  • You will have experience in supporting, consulting or working on the deployment of a major EPM system (HFM, OneStream, SAP BPC, EPBCS, Tagetik etc.)
  • You should also have a working knowledge of a Tier 1 or 2 ERP system (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, MS Dynamics etc.)
  • Ideally you will be a qualified/post-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with an understanding of transactional, planning, budgeting and reporting processes in a major international business.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with finance and commercial teams in our global offices up to CEO level in technical and non-technical terms is essential, understanding your audience and the message
  • An understanding of database technology, SQL, interfaces, data extraction and manipulation would be valuable.  
  • Flexibility to travel up to 50% of the time to the GFG regions
  • Additional language skills nice to have
